Sixth Grade Population Project

The Sixth grade class, all ninety-five of them, created human bar graphs in the Activity Center to represent different populations. The students wore different colored shirts depending on their assigned continent and country.
First, they lined up behind signs of each continent’s name in order from least to greatest.
Second, selected students lined behind signs with the names of the top ten most populated countries.
For their last visual representation, the students created a map of the world with their bodies.

Human map of the world

The Sixth grade has been working on their models of plant and animal cells. These models were made by Mr.Gentry's students. Mr.Gentry assigned them to use any supplies that either Mr.Gentry has provided or the supplies that you provided yourself. The Sixth grade has put all of ther hard to make these magnificent models to show to our school. The school thanks the Sixth grade for the projects they have presented. We all hope that Bushland Middle School see's these up and down the halls of the Sixth grade and that the whole school gets at least a glance of the projects.
